I am an experienced media professional who is passionate about sparking conversations by sharing arts and culture stories. Currently, I am the media and public relations specialist at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Asian Art. Previously, I was the media relations manager at The Phillips Collection, America's first museum of modern art, and a freelance arts journalist.
I enjoy collaborating with creative teams, from overseeing film shoots to developing innovative storytelling concepts to writing and editing just about anything. Established leaders in the arts mentored me as a 2019-2020 Faith Flanagan Fellow with the DC chapter of ArtTable. In 2019, I spoke about arts reporting in the "State of Art/DC" forum at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
My work has also involved guiding local arts organizations as a co-chair of Emerging Arts Leaders DC and a board member of Day Eight. Before moving to DC, I worked in South Asia for two years on a fellowship to increase cultural understanding. My mission is to impact society through media and the arts.
